Carole Kimmel Briggs founded Briggs & Associates in 1990. She received her Bachelors of Arts in Paralegal Science from Eastern Kentucky University, where her honors included the National Dean’s List, Captain of the EKU Cheerleaders, Homecoming Queen Runner-up, and membership in Alpha Delta Pi Sorority.

Carole first entered legal services as a paralegal for Thomas  Brothers, who was subsequently elected Chief Circuit Court Judge, Davidson County, Tennessee. Later, she served as official reporter for, consecutively, Circuit Court Judges the Honorable Jim Everett, the Honorable Frank Clement, and the Honorable Walter Kurtz. She currently serves as the Reporter for the Court of the Judiciary for the State of Tennessee. Her past experience includes Official Reporter for Broward County Criminal Court in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and work with the Federal District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee.
